SEO update: The top 10 frame grabber brands in Q3/2024
CoaXPress frame grabber search engine ranking positions remain dominated by Euresys. However, BitFlow is passed by Teledyne Dalsa.
At Vision Markets, we track the search engine ranking of our clients for their target keywords with our search engine ranking position reports (SERP). It starts with defining the right keywords. “Frame grabber” is too general for machine vision vendors because this keyword also refers to software tools used in consumer electronics. In such cases, we recommend focussing on more specific keywords with less competition.

This reports only gives a general indication of the search engine power of websites and brands for this specific keyword.
Our “CoaXPress frame grabber” SERP report has been constantly dominated by Euresys, BitFlow and Kaya Instruments. In our Q2/2024 report, we noted that BitFlow dropped by two ranks in June. This downward trend continued in Q3, while Teledyne Dalsa’s positive trend also confirmed. Teledyne Dalsa is the new challenger in the top 3, ranking #2 and #3 in August and September. This is pretty impressive considering that the domain was not even listed in the top 10 at the beginning of the year!
Active Silicon also dropped in Q3/2024, which may be linked to their recent rebranding and website relaunch. A recovery already initiated in September, we’ll see if the ranking further improves in Q4.
Overall, the concentration is particularly high on such a specific keyword: Few players rank several pages in the top 10 results: Euresys, Kaya Instruments and Active Silicon, leaving little space for others in the top rankings.
In the second half of the chart, Basler is back with a spike on rank 4 in August. The domain even ranks a second page in the top 10 in September. It is a bit surprising that the baslerweb.com domain shows better performance for frame grabbers than for machine vision cameras, its historical core product. Its rankings are less stable than those of the leaders, though. Will they stabilize in the next quarters?
