The Q1/2026 update of our Vision Markets SERP report shows a strong progression of two domains in particular for several search terms.
The Search Engine Ranking Position of a domain for a given keyword is a good indication of the SEO performance of a website and its relevance in that field. Here is a summary of our quarterly SERP report for machine vision related search terms.
After months of turbulence, the search result rankings for machine vision cameras stabilized in Q1/2026 – at least among the top 3. Basler has now held the undisputed #1 position for five consecutive months.
Two new domains entered the top 10 in Q1/2026 and were able to maintain their presence in following months, which indicates a solid SEO performance.
Edmundoptics.com has been dominating our machine vision lens ranking for years. In Q1/2026, Edmund Optics lost its leading position to a challenger that had showed a spectacular progression last quarter.
In the lower half of our chart, a new domain appeared in the top 10 for the first time in January and progressed every month until March. Subscribe to our VisionLytics newsletter to it can sustain its performance next quarter!
Like Edmund Optics for lenses, Smart Vision Lights has been the undisputed #1 in machine vision light rankings since the beginning of our SERP reports. In February 2026, it was overtaken by the same challenger as Edmund Optics, a domain that has been showing an amazing SEO performance in the last months.
Another new challenger for the top rankings appeared in Q1/2026, reaching ranks #3 and #4 from scratch.
This same domain also performed very strongly on the machine vision software keyword, reaching rank #2 for three months in a row. It overtook a long-time top-performer on this search that lost five ranking positions between November 2025 and January 2026.
A new domain that entered the chart last quarter confirmed it was here to stay, maintaining its position in Q1/2026.
The rankings for the CoaXPress frame grabber search term have been extremely unstable since Q4/2025, except for the top-ranking domain.
