Sales Manager – Machine Vision
Our client is a recognized world leader in the image processing industry, with revenue exceeding USD 3 billion. Its optical and optoelectronic products have been used for decades in a variety of applications, from the automotive industry and logistics to the pharmaceutical and food industries. They play a key role, particularly in the automation of production processes as well as optical quality control, such as defect detection and surface inspection.
To further expand their business activities in the D/A/CH region, they are seeking a Sales & Manager – Machine Vision at the earliest possible date.
Responsibilities
- After comprehensive training in technologies, products, and their applications, you will be responsible for managing and expanding existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new customers, with a focus on the South Germany, Austria, and Switzerland region.
- Respond to customer inquiries, present products to clients and at trade fairs, and assist customers in finding solutions for complex image processing applications.
- Plan and develop existing and new sales channels.
- Through regular exchange with local and international development teams, you will generate ideas for the development of innovative products.
- Analyze market trends and contribute your ideas for advertising and PR activities.
Requirements
- A completed degree (Bachelor/Master) with a technical focus, such as electrical engineering, computer science, optics, physics, or a comparable qualification, is preferred but not required.
- You have a 3+ years of professional experience in (inside) sales, product management, or marketing and are eager to drive sales in your region.
- You have knowledge of machine vision applications and their associated components; advanced expertise in industrial camera technologies is desirable.
- You are a communicative team player who impresses with a friendly and open demeanor, analytical thinking, and excellent listening skills.
- You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
