In Q4/2024, long-time #1 Cognex.com drops down 4 ranking positions. Newcomer shooting star achieves top position from scratch and get-cameras.com gets a new domain as part of rebranding.

Cognex loses long-time #1 ranking, replaced by newcomer easyodm.tech
Cognex.com has been the unchallenged leader of this chart for many months, but dropped down to rank #5 in Q4. The even bigger surprise is that a newcomer, easyodm.tech, entered the top 10 this quarter and immediately surged to the top position. The Lithuanian provider of AI-driven inspection software has done an amazing SEO job and we are curious to see if it can maintain this performance in the mid and long term. The surprise newcomer of Q3/2024, Jadak, was not able to maintain its position in the top 10 in Q4.
Get-cameras becomes VA Imaging
GeT Cameras has been performing very well in the machine vision software search results, which must be acknowledged for a company historically focused on hardware, as the name says. It is all the more surprising that its domain completely disappears from our chart after reaching rank #2 in November, its best position ever.
The reason can be found at the bottom of the chart, where a new domain appears for the first time on rank #10: va-imaging.com. GeT Cameras rebranded to VA Imaging in December and also changed its domain. This obviously had a negative impact on its SEO performance, although its is actually not a bad result to be part of the top 10 from the beginning with a brand new domain. We will closely monitor if and how quickly va-imaging.com can follow the footsteps of its predecessor get-cameras.com.
